Last updated: August 10, 2022

• In New York City, NYC Mesh.

• Across the US, see this state-by-state list of municipal fiber-to-the-home networks created by muninetworks.org, which is part of the Institute for Local Self-Reliance.

• Notably, in Chattanooga, TN, a city-owned utility called EPB had to fight off a lawsuit by Comcast, which tried to shut down EPB's citizen-oriented service. Quartz reported (April 15, 2021) that Chattanooga's EPB is the best broadband in the country, citing PCMag.
